ARCH1101 Haolan Yu

I finished this work about a few months ago. The interesting thing about this work is that I went to Bondi beach and shot this background. In this process, I was inspired by the landforms, animals, plants, waves and other scenery along the beach. Therefore, I created this sculpture model with the posture of seagulls flying, the texture of waves and the outline of fish fins. I also found it useful to go outside to collect inspiration.

This architecture is Louvre Abu Dhabi museum. The interesting thing about this architecture is that the huge dome on the building looks like floating on top and it's web-patterned structure is very complex. Sunlight can shine into the building through the gaps of the dome, presenting a beautiful effect, this design is derived from the local use of palm leaves staggered overlapping.

This photo I was taken at one of the tallest buildings in Shanghai, the Shanghai World Financial Center. We can see a very beautiful night view of Shanghai from this photo. There's a clear contrast between the color lights and black nights, it also shows the prosperity of the city. From a bird's eye view, you can see a different scenery than usual.
